Over the weekend of March 18th-19th, over 90 youth and volunteers participated in the 30-Hour Famine at Smoky Hill UMC. This was our 11th year of fasting while we learn about world hunger and participate in service projects. Each year, I am amazed at the passion and commitment our youth and adults have for this event. Over the past eleven years we have collected over $96,000.00 for World Vision.

A friend of mine gave me a prayer guide book over 15 years ago. At the time it ended up on my shelf and collected dust. About five years ago I found myself spiritually dry, depleted, empty.
